"European passive solar energy innovations + SOS Smart Window System"

Summary of the presentation :

1 - From 16 European demonstration projects already done and monitored, I will present 5 of them on housing, new and retrofitting, presenting the energy consumption achieved per SqFt and the main passive design and active technologies used, for each site considered, with average efficiency and cost.

2 - Considering 15 projects, an overview of a CD called CD-RES (CD on renewable energy sources) will be presented, concerning 15 best design and technologies used in different European countries (from Finland to Portugal).

3 - Presentation of the project Henri Wallon in Grenoble considered by European experts to be the most advanced, with introduction of the SOS Smart Window and one of the largest solar thermal plant on a housing site over Europe.
